Welcome to the San Pasqual High School Athletic Booster Club (SPHSABC) website!  We are a parent run tax-exempt 501c3 Private Foundation.  This means that, in most cases, your donations are 100% tax-deductible!

The purpose of the club is to provide support to all sports programs at San Pasqual High School.  Though the primary support we offer is financial, we also need people to volunteer their time to help the organization run – whether as an executive board member, committee chair, or helping in the snack bar, we cannot succeed without your help!  

How do we raise money? 
Snack Bar – We operate the snacks bars at football games.  Parent volunteers of specific sports work the snack bar and earn money for that program in return. 
Corporate Sponsorship – Do you own a business?  Advertise with a banner and on our website!
Membership – Basic membership is free.  Get on our email list and be part of what is going on with sports on the San Pasqual campus.  We also offer paid memberships.  Half of the proceeds go directly to the sport of your choice while the other half is split between the athletic director and the general fund.  
Spirit Wear – Buy sweat shirts, hats, etc. from the snack bar or at the Cashier’s office and show your Eagle Pride!  Most items we provide support the general fund, however, we do have the capability to help specific sports with team wear or parents with “bling wear”.  Profits from these sales go directly to the sport.
Auction – This is our biggest fund raiser of the year.  Held in the spring, tickets are available online on this website after January 1st.  This is a dinner event where all teams are encouraged to prepare baskets to sell in a silent auction.  We also provide an opportunity for teams to auction off large, more expensive items in a live auction.  10% of the proceeds go to the booster general fund to cover auction expenses and 90% goes directly to the sport that provided the item.

What do we do with the money?
SPHSABC acts both as a “checking account” to hold and distribute funds for specific sports as requested by the team’s head coach and also maintains a general fund for reoccurring expenses and special requests.

> CIF Banners
> Athletic Patches
> End of year Plaques

Examples of special requests funded over the last few years are:
> $6,000 to upgrade equipment for the weight room
> $6,000 to upgrade the baseball field
> $3,000 to paint the football and baseball score boards
> “Gifted” all sports money to spend at their discretion, totaling over $10,000
